2017 MREA July District Meetings

Throughout the month of July we will be holding membership meetings in Districts 2, 3, 5, and 6 to provide updates on what MREA has been doing to provide great service so far this year!

Please note that all are welcome to attend, and if your district is not holding a meeting feel free to attend any of the meetings listed below.  In the unlikely event that a vote is required to conduct official MREA business, only delegates from the applicable district will be asked to vote. Lunch will be provided for attendees at all the meetings.

  • District 3 Meeting: Thursday, July 13, 2017, 12:00p - 3:30p, Arrowwood Resort, Alexandria, MN
  • District 2 Meeting: Friday, July 14, 2017, 9:00a - 12:30p, Sugar Lake Lodge, Cohasset, MN
  • District 6 Meeting: Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 9:00a - 12:30p, People's Energy Co-op, Oronoco, MN
  • District 5 Meeting: Friday, July 21, 2017, 9:00a - 12:30p, Brown County REA, Sleepy Eye, MN

Who Should Attend: Cooperative Directors, CEOs, and staff interested in an update on MREA activities from this District.  Attendees from other Districts are also welcome as guests.

Price: All MREA District Meetings are $50/person to attend.

Agenda Highlights: (See individual meeting times above)

At every District Meeting, you can look forward to hearing from the following people about topics such as:

  • Shared thoughts and experiences from the MREA Board Directors representing your district,
  • A “state of the business” summary, including progress on strategic initiatives, from MREA’s CEO,
  • Specific updates from MREA’s department leaders covering government and public affairs, education and communication, and safety and loss control,
  • Reports from your districts cooperative directors and CEOs,
  • REPAC updates and election of trustees,
  • AND, enjoy listening to an address by a Legislative guest speaker from your area of the state over lunch!
