Todd-Wadena Electric Cooperative seeks Member Services Manager

Todd-Wadena Electric Cooperative (TWEC) is an electric power distribution utility located in beautiful northern Minnesota approximately 2.5 hours north of the Minneapolis metro area in the city of Wadena.  TWEC is a proud member of our community that provides power and services to 8,800 customers and member/owners mostly within Todd and Wadena counties.

We are looking for an experienced manager who will develop strong connections with our customers/membership, actively engage within our community, promote the TWEC brand, and most importantly bring a collaborative leadership style to the member services function within our organization. 

The Member Services Manager is responsible for customer/member engagement, ensuring all aspects of premier customer service, community involvement, managing commercial and key accounts, supervising all cooperative communications, media and social media-both internal and external, and the implementation, development and maintenance of consumer programs for the efficient use of electrical energy from Todd-Wadena Electric Cooperative.

The successful candidate will be a proven leader with integrity, highly developed collaborative management skills and a forward-looking perspective.  Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in combination with an attention to detail and accuracy are essential.   Analytical skills are required to understand, assign and explain rate schedules and efficiency programs particularly for commercial and key accounts.  Candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline, with 7 years of leadership experience in a customer centric organization.
