RUS Environmental Regulation Training

Tuesday, August 14, 2018, 9:00 - 3:30 p.m.
Beltrami Electric Cooperative, Inc., 4111 Technology Dr. NW, Bemidji, MN 56619

This class will cover the 1970 Environmental Regulations and what is included and looked for by RUS. It will also address related environmental issues including National Historic Preservation Act, Section 106 and Endangered Species Act, Section 7. The instructors will also cover new streamlining and efficiency policies that are in the works, and will hopefully be rolled out by that time. They will also be covering timing, and different tricks and tips to make the environmental process proceed smoother and quicker.

This training will be with the actual OH reviewer, so you can ask questions to the individual who will ultimately be reviewing their environmental documentation. They will be taking time to respond to concerns and questions related to experiences you may have had in working with the RUS Environmental Review process.

The instructors will include Environmental Protection Specialists Lauren Cusick
