In today’s world, we all need to be prepared for the unexpected.  Employee’s working in the service industry sometimes face unreasonable challenges that one needs to be prepared for.  The presentation will be focusing on both field workers and office/administration staff.

The topics which will be covered are as follows:  current trends around the country, situational awareness, threats to the workplace, de-escalation, medical equipment/emergencies, personal defense tactics/options, evacuation plans/drills, developing hasty plans, intelligence gathering of certain locations before employees are sent, red flags to look for when approaching a property to be serviced and illegal contraband often in plain view.   This presentation will challenge you both professionally and personally when you think of safety while at work and home.

4:00      Adjourn – Networking Anyone? You can decide as a group if people have interest in getting together at the Green Mill (at the hotel) or another nearby St. Cloud restaurant.
