Executive Assistant to CEO and Leadership Team

Todd-Wadena Electric Cooperative (TWEC) is an electric power distribution utility located in beautiful northern Minnesota approximately 2.5 hours north of the Minneapolis metro area in the city of Wadena.  TWEC is a proud member of our community that provides power and services to 8,800 customers and member/owners mostly within Todd and Wadena counties.

We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide support to the CEO and members of the Leadership Team.    

This is a trusted and highly responsible position within the Todd Wadena Electric Cooperative and as such the successful candidate will be a proven leader with integrity, highly developed collaborative project management skills and a strong customer service perspective.  Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in combination with an attention to detail and accuracy are essential.   Excellent organizational and technical skills are required.  Candidates will have a minimum of a 2-year Associate degree (Bachelor degree preferred) in Business, Marketing or related discipline, with 5 years of Executive Assistant experience in a customer centric organization supporting the Leadership Team. 

Some of the duties of the Executive Assistant include responsibility for maintaining and managing confidential TWEC corporate documents, policies, forms and electronic files directory.  This employee will also manage and coordinate TWEC meeting registrations, travel and expense reporting for employees and the board of directors; monthly, quarterly, and annual employee events and board meetings; and coordinate special projects for the leadership team such as strategic planning or research projects.
